Shane Archer Reed
BIO
Shane's sound comes from his emotionally based rock sound and his extensive background in musical theatre. Drawing inspiration from his favorite musicals, such as RENT, Les Miserables, and Spring Awakening(To name a few), and the rock artists that fueled him like Queen, Daughtry, Alter Bridge, and Marianas Trench, Shane has created a unique sound to express his emotional journey, both where he's been, and where he wants to go.
In the many years Shane has have been active, he has had the opportunity to tour the east and midwest US with artists such as Rookie Of The Year, Page9, and MNERVA, as well as locally open for some nationally known artists such as The Stolen, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, The Veer Union, and Jefferson Starship.
Shane's music tackles subjects like grieving the loss of a loved one(both in death and in heartbreak), overcoming great obstacles in life, and the feelings of inadequacy, insecurity, fear, and how to rise above it all. Shane wants nothing more than to invoke a positive change in our world through his music, to spreak kindness, love, and most of all hope!
